My Friend's Smile

My friend is not like the others, sensitive, yet simple, simply impeccable.
He likes to dress in bright, when he goes out at night
Gentle and quiet and doesn't like to fight
All alone in the club, he likes to dance, when given the chance
kind and caring beyond reproach, he would make a good lifestyle coach
dresses in style, helps all others, he likes to go beyond the mile
I'll never forget his friendly smile

My friend is not like the others, the best person that I know
He's a great engineer and full of good cheer
My how he could cook, we wanted to eat, just by the look
Spicy steak casserole, pasta with mighty meatball
We ate until we were full, he stayed just a while
I'll never forget his smile.

My friend, not like the others, quiet and liked to walk home alone
He would go out all the time, mostly without a phone
They saw him on the heath, watched him cross the street
Beat him in the alley, they broke his legs and feet
Fed him dogs excreta and told him it was a treat
he never fought back and died on that street
without any tricks or guile
I'll never forget his smile

Me and I

Hate is in a mans heart
Corrupted by actions of power
the murder of an innocent boy
Changes a sin into a joy
A president with ultra power
The strength and money
To hide behind a tower
Evidence changed, video lies
Influence of friends, keeping off the flies.

Prime minister smirk off his face
Doesn't care for creed or race
Anti-semitism blame the Jews
Racist slur always in the news
That's fine it keeps the heat off him
Making money for his friends
When he thieves off every working man
Why sit back to accept injustice
peacefully march, get your voice heard
Join together, question all, why are they so rich, yet your pay packet stays small.

British fuel is the most expensive
More than any country in the world
Question this, why should it be
hard to fill your car, it's your money
The tax we pay is beyond belief
Like pouring money into a sieve.
We have to pay to get to work
We have to bow to generalise
but listen to all is my advice
put people first for a happy life.
if you have all, someone has sod all
if I pays for me, who is really your enemy ?

Disabled or poor might be a bore,
Cut their benefits and have an oak door. A talking fridge, a brand new car
Intelligent alarms to keep out the poor
a nations speaks with eventual hate
You better keep locked
your security Gate,
The worm will turn, the multitude will rise, to take your wealth
 your me and i's.

Killer

He hit her with a hammer, he never even saw her
Nine o'clock at night, It gave her such a fright
"Hello excuse me mam', she went to turn and BAM!
across her lovely head, they told me "Jane is dead"
A hammer cracked her skull and left a gaping hole
He dragged her in the alley and raped Jane's naked body
Sixteen years of hell, they had him in a cell
I waited for that day, his good behaviour paid
Released from prison see, to wander streets so free.
Untill he met me there, waiting on the stair.
I showed her photograph, he never even gasped.
"Well what dyou want me to do", from his mouth, it spewed.
I saw evil in his eyes, he laughed but I cried
thunder took my storm, erupted beyond norm.
His neck was in my hand, tight as a rubber band
I squeezed as if a sleeve, he couldn't speak or breathe.
I slid the knife from my coat, I cut his evil throat.
I drew the blood from him, now my life is through coz It will never bring back you.
They put me in a cell to live a life in hell.
I still have thoughts of Jane walking down the lane.

Boy

EGoing on, Growing strong, is your mind on fire ?
evil though your eyes may seem, your heart is with desire.
cut some coke, smoke some dope, sharpen knife on a granite stone
slash your blade into his flesh, how did your life get such a mess ?
trousers worn around your thighs, come to me with no more lies
stick your arse up to the world, life is hard, breathe in and smell!
the little boy, was so good, went away and joined the hood
hidden in alleys, selling drugs, to all our kids in the neighbourhood.
gave some coke to a little lad, thought that he would be real glad
return to you, buy some more, then sit down and take a little draw.
his father Dave was none too pleased, to find poor Joe in a mortuary freeze
now your life is not much fun with your brain gone from his short range gun.
I visit you, each and every day, hard to see you alive this way.
what boy was there, is not no more, I thought you'd grow and learn the score.
I thought you'd see the light of day, or end up in a lonely grave.
so sit, hum a tune and waste away, i'll come and see you another day.

Just by chance

Drive a train over the track jumper jumps ain't coming back
through the tunnel, light isn't red, steady speed, station ahead
round the bend into the light, passengers move back, mainly in fright
one stays steady looking left, toot the horn, leaps to his death
onto the front hit the screen, then under the train with a scream
feel the crunching off his bones, no return for young Tim Jones
nightmarish dreams, eyes still look, into the mind, the driver spooks
three days spare, then back to the tube, driving the train misunderstood.
memory fades in some time until another one under, is on the line.

Unfortunately for me I was born on a friday.

Soldiers arrived, they took them away,
no one knew why they could not stay,
They came with lorries and bundled them on,
asking for Country, Town, Date and then they were gone
First my friends, then my family
my brother, my mum and my sister Emily
gaping holes in community, soldiers with guns, masks, brutal slavery
they were there, now they're gone, gone away from me

I spoke to people left, one's left bereft
trying to find a cause for this sin
trying to find out why?, this state were in
but none knew why, or where they've gone
no one knew why, except they forced their way in.
I gathered reasons by questioning few, then many
English, Polish, French, Indians and those from Germany
I could not find a Reason why? but it wasn't ugliness
I searched around, it could not be the wealthy or the poor
it wasn't what clothes were in their drawer
it wasn't race by the look in their face

I knew the population had grown, the evidence had shown
No jobs, no money, food was scarce
people fighting for a place to live
some had taken to sharing
most were living in the benches or vents
in the open park and living in tents
After much research, blown away and bemused
there were no reasons that I could unearth
except the date of their birth
besides one born on a Sunday, Tuesday, Friday too
there were none left, not even you
Monday had gone, Wednesday disappeared, Thursday none
Saturday vanished like the setting of a sun

Then as if an explosion in my brain it was somewhat crazy completely insane
those in charge had worked a plan, drafted an army then it began
a birthright lottery to sort it out, not ageist or racist or a wealthy plan
born on a day they did not choose' would be taken away, gassed or shot then burnt in may
a great big pyre could be smelt, dust of bodies no longer felt,
falling down as if it were snow, putting on a great big show
Jews were blamed for undermining wealth
In Nazi Germany, they were caught by stealth
yet this is a different state of mind, no one to blame, just a state unkind
They grew in power and had a plan, to take away the heart of every man
those that were left would beg for life, those were left had no wife
slavery and power will be their days bowing down to pay their way's

BUCKET

THE NEED TO HAVE MONEY IN THIS WORLD TO SURVIVE
THE GREED IS THE NEED TO BE SATISFIED
WORKING  HARD TO ACCUMULATE
LOTS OF WEALTH FOR A POSH FRONT GATE
A HOUSE FULL OF SPLENDOUR A NICE CAR TOO
A HD TV AND A BRACELET FOR YOU
SOME FINER THINGS ARE UNDER FREEZE
VENISON STEAKS, LADY CAROLINE CHEESE
BUT WHAT WOULD I BE WITHOUT A JOB
A FAT GUT BUCKET AND A LAZY SLOB

IF THERE WERE NO MONEY AND A BARTERING NEED
WE WOULD GO OUT HUNTING AND CAPTURE OUR FEED
TRADE WITH EACH OTHER FOR THINGS WE REQUIRE
ALL BE GOOD AND SING IN A CHOIR
KIND TO OUR NEIGHBOURS, NO NEED TO WORK
NO MORE EXHAUSTION, EVERYDAY A SHIRK.
NO PRICE ON ANYTHING, EVERYTHING FOR FREE
EVERYDAY A LEISURE WITH GOOD COMPANY
BUT WHAT WOULD I BE IF LIFE WERE A FOB
A FAT GUT BUCKET AND A LAZY SLOB

Chris Evans

He's a radio presenter as rich as can be, living his life in pure luxury
Playing our tunes, talking of life
Wonderful kids and a happy wife

Wouldn't it be grand to work on radio 2, wouldn't it be great to be like you
Charming and happy, a ginger hair fool
Spinning the tracks for each and us all

It's fun to listen, it's good to hear
Listening to music and all the good cheer, keep it going, keep it real
With lively chat and a fun filled thrill

Russian Democracy

So once again you voted him in
why do that with the state your in
surely there's better than Vladimir Putin
okay there's jobs when there were none
Russians are free to have more fun
countries economy healthy and rich
job galore, what a bitch!
so off you go further right taking money into the night
sharing gone, caring too, lessons from the west won't satisfy you
communism saw it's death, voice of the devil is in your breath
a nation that used to share, leave the rich to grab and tear
that hungry child that once was fed
begs in the street without a bed
learn from your history, Stalin has gone
taking with him that hateful greed
leaving behind a brotherhood feed
Putin is a Cameron with blond hair
buying the votes with corrupting fayer.
Money is greed, with a dangerous need
draining souls, destroying your seed
good mortal beings, wanting lust
at what cost and what unjust.

.

Watch your step

Don't have a blue fit,
you're the one who trod in it.
It's not my problem at all,
Why you've been such a fool
You just have to, don't you
Walk into to a mess
You knew you shouldn't have
Worn that new dress
and what about your shoes
They were new too?
Well la di da and boo hoo
silly girl you
Now calm down a bit
and next time you twit
Don't tread in the shit

Suggest it

Some people call me hideous
Some even say I'm fabulous
Others just look and stare
Some just touch for a dare
But I can't be bothered
and i don't really care

I eat rather peculiar things
A few of them even have wings
people think that I'm cruel
others say my belly looks full
Well it does protrude when I've ate
I just want to sleep,
Coz I'm beaten when I've eaten

I live in a glass box
And just like a fox
I sometimes crawl out
And wander about
Quietly I sliver around
Until I am found
Then I am put back in my case
i stare and hiss at the big face.

One day I'll be free
When that day comes, he will see
Sneaking around so quietly
I'll bite him on the neck
My teeth only leave a small speck
A tiny little hole, just a little peck
When I'm free from that glass thing
Free to hiss and sing
