Raining

It's raining, there's water pouring down, so depressive I can't help but frown
If it were sunny I'd walk in the park
Talk to my friends at the Cutty Sark
Sit in the garden for most of the day
Pick some flowers in the usual way
Put on some shorts look up at the sun
See it glow, with my sunglasses on, what a great show but it's raining again, when will it end ?, I'd like to go and see my friends, its driving me around the bend, maybe soon it will be nice, my daughter could take her baby out in the pram, I'd playfully soak my grandson again, Oh but I forgot, damn!, I'm not allowed to do that, there's still that dreaded hose pipe ban.

Existence

Each and every man or woman a singular solitary cell burning energy
Feeding power to an unknown source
I am but a speck of ion within a vast mass, a nucleus that needs feeding with fuel toxically dangerous to each and everyone of us, yet kept within its shell by a beautiful crust known as Earth.
Green in splendour by a lush vegetation feeding on Carbon Dioxide with a wondrous conversion into a living gas for all mankind to inhale and continue on a living planet, one of thousands creating what is known to the human existence as space with its empty appearance yet probably teeming with life beyond any beings imagination.
Unknown quantity of people in one form or another each and everyone a living cell captive within their own planet, within their own galaxy, within their own universe all inside a spherical plaything with amazing swirls and colours lit by an everlasting battery from inside and held by the right hand of God.

She doesn’t know

I'm with her every single day,
we're so close in a peculiar way.
I cannot see how it doesn't show
I love her so much
but she doesn't know.

Fortune favours the bright or brave
I haven't the strengh
to quarrel or shave
So why do I keep on digging this hole
I love her so much
but she doesn't know

Tuesday comes and Wednesday too
Day by day, I struggle through
To stay in alone with solitude
I know It seems completely rude
But Depressions deep, it's got a hold
I love her so much
But she doesn't know

Gluttony

I ask my self a question, I wonder if it's true, should I wear black or should I wear blue.
can I wear the shirt I wore last year ?,
Should I drink whiskey rather than beer.
New black shoes to wear on my feet Blue striped trainers might be sweet.
Whatever I decide, i hope to look good with a flat cap on or maybe a hood
My belly is so large and round
to take away the appeal
from a good looking man
A fella that's slightly over the hill
A person that was once married to gill.
Now we're all seated
I've one more thing to say,
let's get on our knees, thank God and pray.

Dilemma for a woman

A woman may ask without delight, Is it better being with a poor man that's generous, or a rich man who's tight, a person that will always put up a fight or someone who will love them way into the night

Woodberry Down Comprehensive

When I was a little boy, I had some fun, there were some knocks but lots of joy
Amazed at school I loved to learn, from English to maths, the science and art
I could have been anything I wanted to be, if only they, had left me to be
the violence i found the bullies around
The threat of a thump, the violent sound, it was more than I could bare
Too much for me,the boisterous fools unable to listen or follow the rules, the girl sat in front knifed in the back,
The different gangs in different factions nowhere to get away from all of their actions.
a twenty foot gate, easy to climb
Run from the hell, the hate and crime
Walking around in a life of peace, out of the school to wander the streets.
Despite of it all, I still think it's right
To not stand a ground, not put up a fight, what good would it do to spend life like that
push others around, a popular rat

Scrumptious

If you come from London,
you'll know what I mean,
Extraordinary pie and mash
With liquor so green
Add a little salt, lots of pepper too
Vinegar in the middle of the pie,
that's delicious for you,
Cooksie's was the start,
yet sadly now that's gone,
Still there's plenty more to choose from
To make you good and strong.
If you go to The East End, Hackney,!Eltham too,
Don't forget the Pie & Mash waiting there for you
